Licence, registration, and fitness
Every truck we list shows a Jamaican driver’s licence, vehicle registration, and fitness paper before they send a price. You see a name, stars, and a parish — not a number that vanishes.
The price they send is the price
They quote on your route, stairs, helpers, and photo. If the load matches the post, they keep that cash price. If the load is different, they can send a new price. Nobody raises the price at the gate for the same job.
Never send a deposit first
Pay cash, Lynk, or bank to the named driver when the load is off. Nobody here asks for money to ‘hold’ a truck. If they do, close it and WhatsApp us.
Both of you rate after the job
You rate them. They rate you. Stars show after both of you finish.

Straight answers
Do I pay LoadYard anything?
No. Posting a load and looking is free. You pay the truck you pick when the load is off. We never take that money.
How do I pay the driver?
Nothing first. Pay the named driver when the load is off — cash, Lynk, or a bank they name (NCB or Scotia is common). Look the cargo over before you hand over the money. Pay the person who did the job — not a stranger who texts first.
What if they change the price when they arrive?
The cash price they sent is the price if the load matches the post. Stairs, photo, and parish are part of that. If the load is not what you posted, they can send a new price. If they demand more for the same job, close it and WhatsApp us.
What if cargo is hurt, or the truck does not show?
WhatsApp us with the load and the driver’s name. We have their licence, registration, and fitness on file. We step in on that chat. Do not send extra money to ‘unlock’ the job.
What if my cargo is fragile or oversized?
Say so in the post and add a photo. Stairs, glass, a piano, or extra-long lumber change the price. Trucks send a cash price after they see that.
How fast do trucks answer?
Typically 15–30 minutes in business hours, in Kingston, St. Andrew, St. Catherine, and St. James. Quiet parishes can take longer. That is typical, not a promise.
What if the time slips or we disagree?
WhatsApp us with the load and the driver’s name. We look at both sides. Do not send extra money to ‘unlock’ the job.
What if a driver asks me to send money first?
Close the chat and WhatsApp us. No LoadYard driver needs money before they come. Pay when they are on site.
Is this only Kingston?
Every parish can post. ID-checked drivers are running in Kingston, St. Andrew, St. Catherine, and St. James first.
